The Birth Day

No three days of my life have ever been full of more emotion than the three days we spent in the hospital with our little love. It felt like an insanely fast vacation that made my heart explode with love and my eyes constantly fill with happy tears. ❤️

We checked into our room at 5:45 AM and had two hours of nervous excitement before we were rolled into the operating room for my C-section. The fear of the unknown set my stomach into a nauseous state when the nurse started to put my IV in, but that was weirdly the worst I felt the whole day. And let me briefly spread the planned-C-section gospel, because it was GREAT. It was over so fast, and I thought it was going to be so much worse than it was. ;) Our doctor and nurses were amazing, and we were so well taken care of during our whole stay.

My wonderful best friend came to the hospital early to take pictures of all the action. I will cherish these photos forever!

One of us is calmer than the other in this photo. 😝

Annie’s fan club waited patiently in the hall.

And 45 minutes later, we were out with a baby!

BAH. I love my family SO MUCH. ❤️

My girl. 💕

My Mama being adorable.

In-laws finally got their first grandbaby! 😉

I STILL can’t look at these photos of us and my Dad without crying. 😭

So thankful for this most precious BFF!

Uncle Brad and Aunt Sherree are baby pros!

All hail Target for their perfect floral pattern on this swaddle blanket.

World’s most handsome Daddy. 💕

Uncle Tanner loves her, and it’s adorable.

We’re excited for the future day that these two join us in having babies. 😉

The day after Annie was born, we had a hospital session with our amazing photographer, Trish of Sweetberry Photography. We are OBSESSED with these photos! (And wait until you see the newborn photos she took!)

Look at that hair! 😍

This photo is my favorite ever. 💕

These four souls have the biggest hearts and have been so helpful the past few weeks. We are so thankful for our tribe!

Happy Aunt. 💕

I absolutely love being a mom. I am soaking up every minute of being home just holding her and taking roughly 200 photos a day. 😉 We are sleepy, but our hearts are so full! 💕
