The Overwhelming Summer

I thought being pregnant would get me out of a lot more, but it turns out I’m just as busy and life is just as crazy. ๐Ÿ™ƒ We’ve been running 100 MPH, and I’m just briefly emerging from the chaos before it starts back up again. My multi-tasking brain is out of hand, and I’ve been working my butt off the last couple months. And pregnancy brain? It’s real.

BUT HEY GOOD NEWS. I’ll have a baby ๐Ÿ˜ณ in just 3 months, and that’ll give me a great excuse to end the busy, right? ๐Ÿ˜

Let’s play catch up on the last few weeks – they’ve been full of crazy, but full of fun!

Andrew is very excited (like, tears-in-his-eyes-excited) that a Potbelly’s has finally graced Oklahoma. This one is on NW Expressway, but we’re getting another one just 15 minutes away soon!

Sweet baby Boswell has graciously allowed me to return to chocolate, particularly chocolate-chip pancakes. PRAISE.

We had a blast celebrating my new sister at her bachelorette party! Gabby is officially a BOSWELL! ๐Ÿ’•ย (Keep scrolling for wedding pics.)

These girls are SO much fun.

We rehearsed with perfect weather. โค๏ธ

My mom-in-law knows how to throw a party. ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿผ

The best maid of honor and best man ever. ๐Ÿ˜ย Their speeches had us all in tears and giggles.

Baby Annie rocked her first wedding. ๐Ÿ’•

Prettiest little bride!!!

All hail Mom-in-law’s skills.

It was so fun to be a bridesmaid with this cutie co-worker!

So. Much. Fun.

So proudย to call this looker mine. ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜

The week after the wedding was spent working a bunch, but we had a visit from baby Goldie Jane! ๐Ÿ’•

This hunk and I celebrated 10 years of dating last month. HOLY COW. We went back to our first date and reminisced at Steve’s Rib. ๐Ÿ˜Š

This is the exact face Jack gives Andrew every single day when he comes home from work until he takes him outside to play. ๐Ÿ˜‚

I passed my glucose test…

…by bringing my Mama for moral support.

We celebrated with pizza, of course. ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ

Let me continue the feast photos by quickly plugging Longhorn Steakhouse yet again. The chicken and steak combo was sent directly from God.

We partied with family to celebrate Brad’s birthday and Pop-Pop’s 90th birthday!

My sweet Mom-Mom (who Annie is being named after) gave us this perfect little book. If you haven’t read it, grab a box of tissues before you do. ๐Ÿ˜ญ

We watch Independence Day every 4th of July. I never regret it. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

We had perfect walking weather on the 4th too!

I didn’t think I’d do fireworks this year, but turns out my pregnancy is pretty darn easy aside from the bathroom breaks. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Haha.

We also celebrated Andrew’s grandma turning 87! Sweetest thing.

And I finally got to catch up with these beautiful besties. They make me laugh so much! โค๏ธ

I’ll post an update on baby’s nursery soon, but here’s a quick preview. Lol. (Still 95% sure Jack has no clue.)

Happy Thursday, friends! ๐Ÿ˜„

CaitPhoto Favorites

2016ย was a really busy and honestly pretty tough year for us. After some prayer and reevaluating, I decided to make the CaitPhoto world a part-time job for this new year. It’ll give us a little more breathing room with my 2ndย job, and I’ll hopefully be able to rekindle my love for naps and free time. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I’m pretty pumped. And while the year was slightly crazy, it was still full of the most beautiful people! I’m so thankful for these sweet faces, and I love getting to be a small part of their precious memories. Here are some of my favorites from last year. ๐Ÿ™‚

Tanner & Gabby’s Engagement

ย My heart is full, exhausted, obsessed, overflowing, and unbelievably thrilled. WE PULLED IT OFF! My brother-in-law put a ring on it this weekend. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Proposals are weeks and months of giddiness, secrets, white lies, and anxiety. ๐Ÿ˜‰ And they are 100% worth it. But definitely high-five my mom-in-law the next time you see her, or give her a gift card to a day spa. Lol. We were a little anxious when the forecast showed lots of rain, but the Lord heard our prayers and gave us a perfect night!

Look. At. This. Precious. Goodness.

Yes, I was hiding in the bushes to capture all the cuteness.

Mom-in-law made those to-die-for flowers, and Gabby’s super talented roomie Kate did the pretty writing. Aunt Laney once again lent us her perfect backyard and threw in a perfect sofa and chandelier to make this dreamy set-up come to life. And it was magical.

So. Magical.

We are crazy excited to add this family to ours. ๐Ÿ™‚

And our Boswell clan is complete!

I get a little teary-eyed just thinking about how perfect God’s plans are in bringing Gabby into our lives. His provision and love are all over her and Tanner’s story, and I couldn’t be more excited for them.

And I’m just a little thrilledย that we’re officially going to be SISTERS!

Is she the cutest or is she the cutest!?

Hands down, this photo below is my favorite thing ever. It perfectly sums up their relationship and that whole night.

Cheesy reenactment for the win.

*slow clap for Tanner*

I ordered these beauties from Cookies by Sydnie, and we were in love with how they turned out!

Besties for the resties. Love you both so much. ๐Ÿ™‚
