A Pregnant Pause

Last week, I finished all my shoots and editing for the year. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผย The past several days have been spent cleaning and re-organizing my entire house. It has been the most exhilarating feeling ever. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I am SO excited to finally have some down time again! With just under 4 weeks until our little Annie arrives, I am planning to push the pause button and soak up all the free time I can. And while I’m still working one job, it’s nice to have put a hold on the CaitPhoto side for now. I plan to clean and nap as much as possible the last few weeks before baby joins us. ๐Ÿ˜‰

The past month has been full of baby showering, date nights, and nursery work. I can’t believe we only have a month left before she’s here!

These sweet beauties threw us the BEST baby shower! We are so thankful for all the sweet people who already love our Annie!

Mom-in-law strikes again. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I’m at a party if there are Uncle Mitch cookies. ๐Ÿช

I love this sweet BFF so much!

All the feels.

My not-so-little, little sister looked so pretty. What a grown-up.ย ๐Ÿ˜ญ

I win at in-law family. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Sweet Mama.ย ๐Ÿ’•

Peopleย who get me gift me things like this. โค๏ธย (Thanks, Molly!)

Having a moment with Goldie. ๐Ÿ˜

Love these cutie coworkers of mine!

This picture makes my heart happy. I have so many good memories with these babes!ย ๐Ÿ’•

It was such a fun surprise to have my cousin and aunt come out from Georgia!

And finally, Annie’s namesake – just being the cutest. ๐Ÿค—

In other news, we’ve been eating out entirely too much, but we figure we’d better cherish it while we can! ๐Ÿ˜‰ย Halls Pizza Kitchen was a winner!

And Flint is always a winner for breakfast.

We’re still exercising (every now and then lol) to keep those calories at bay. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Baby laundry is so much cuter than adult laundry.

I’m also soaking up the snuggles with this pooch. His world is about to turn upside down. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I waited my whole pregnancy for the fair to arrive. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ

And it did not disappoint. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I’ll do a full post on Annie’s nursery when it’s completely finished, but here’s a little peek for now. ๐Ÿ˜Šย (Jack is so proud.)

Happy Sunday, loves!

Let’s Catch Up

I’m well overdue for a catch up blog. My apologies. We’ve had a crazy busy few weeks! Spring has slowly been showing its beautiful face (with a few thunderstorms), I’ve been celebrating (in denial) turning 27, and we’ve been planning lots of fun new adventures for the year! Let’s play catch up.

Andy’s on Penn and 150th is open – go forth and feast, my friends!

We had a fabulous family birthday party that I have almost no pictures from, but Andrew got me these awesome giant balloons that I had to get a picture with, of course. ๐Ÿ™‚ Fun fact: 27 is my favorite number, so it’s bound to be a good year!

When I was leaving the house on my birthday to head to a work lunch, this beautiful baby came right up to me and eventually hopped in my car. Haha! I dropped her at the Edmond Animal Shelter if anyone recognizes her!

Such a happy little birthday blessing!

We had PIZZA naturally to celebrate my birthday with my favorite work ladies. ๐Ÿ™‚

And we ended the day with dinner at Longhorn, of course.

This is my favorite view…handsome man and beautiful chicken. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I got these super cute sneakers from Andrew for my birthday that will hopefully motivate me to get back into a regular exercise routine. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Another pizza celebration with my lovelies, Kristi and Brette!

Mom-in-law took Gabby and me on a quick trip to Dallas over Spring Break, and we shopped hard.

We ate at a place called Hopdoddy’s – best burgerย everrr.

The weekend after my bday, we saw Beauty & the Beast at the Warren balcony with these beautiful chips and queso. ๐Ÿ˜‰

And this ginormous salad. (Movie was awesome by the way – the music is AMAZING.)

And the last of the birthday celebrations ended with family, more pizza, and more ice cream. ๐Ÿ™‚

Henry knows what’s important in life.

We took my hammock out for the first time last week, and it was more divine than I imagined. Now if Oklahoma would just get itself together and have some consistently sunny days, we’d be golden. ๐Ÿ˜‰

And lastly, this is my new favoriteย meme. Lol.

Happy Wednesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

February Fun

It’s hard to believe February is already on its way out! Of course, we’ve had some fun distractions helping the month fly by faster. ๐Ÿ˜‰

The obsession with Chick-fil-A continues, and we essentially forced Tanner and Gabby to come with us to a Valentine’s date night dinner the restaurant by our house hosted. It was perhaps the whitest thing we’ve ever done, but we gotย free stuff and had nuggets, so it was worth it. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Tanner was clearly thrilled.

The night before Valentine’s Day, Andrew and I fancied up and headed downtown for our dinner at Vast! We were so glad we went the night before, because it wasn’t crowded at all.

Yes. I made him take a picture holding the bread. It’s important to us.

I had forgotten how magnificent their steak is, and I’ve been unable to stop thinking about it since we left. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ

My little sister is such a rockstar chef! It was a fun surprise when she brought us out a free dessert.ย ๐Ÿ˜‰

I made some fun little Valentines for my co-workers, because I’m cheesy and food-obsessed.

The best surprise was when this handsome man showed up at work and took me out for a Longhorn lunch! ๐Ÿ˜

See? We’re happiest with bread.

I cannot say enough good things about the parmesan crusted chicken at Longhorn. It has changed me.

We also had a Valentine visit at work from this little cutie! ๐Ÿ’•

More perfect surprises from Andrew were on the table when I got home from work. He rocked it. โค๏ธ

The most romantic of Valentine’s Days. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ•

We wrapped up the week Saturday at the zoo withย our favorite little nephew. ๐Ÿ’•

My new favorite thing he does is hold hands and stare at his shadow.

Such a little babe.

Henry wanted the fish to live long and prosper.ย ๐Ÿ––๐Ÿผ

My. Heart.

Goldfish for the win.

I’ve decided I’m going to make him take photo booth pictures every time we go to the zoo until he’s 18.

Happy Monday, loves!ย May your week be as chill as my dog.
